Warning: This passage contains some excruciatingly painful puns.
Craig Tangley, the chief executive of camera retailer Jessys, became the latest director to quit the struggling company after releasing a video of himself on You Tube revealing that he is in fact an albatross.
Tangleys departure- after only a year in the post- comes hot on the heels of the groups finance director, Euan Harrison who left in September after revealing that he is in fact a Puffin.
It is a shaky time for Jessys as the the price of digital cameras has come down a lot and online competition has increased. Perhaps if the profits hadn't been falling so much they wouldn't have felt under so much pressure to reveal that they are birds.
Tangley joined the retailer in 2005 and is leaving to pursue other 'business interests' including fishing and low budget air travel.

Pearson Seasmore the retail analyst said that "The man at the top of the 'pecking' order Donald Ashley ( Jessy's chairman) must be feeling lonely with his cheif executive and finance director ' spreading their wings' and leaving. The question must be as to whether given the state of the company, he too is in fact a bird and whether he can find other 'high flyers'to replace them."
