Stethoscope Girl

There is a bit of a movie theme going on with this one.
The image of the girl in the swim suit is done with reference to a film still from Atonement, staring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy.
The film is adapted from the Ian McEwan novel which was shortlisted for the 2001 booker prize.
The film won 7 Golden Globes.

I know the painting does'nt look like Keira Knightley but I dont think it does the painting any harm, and thats saying something.

For the hand holding the stethoscope I refered to a photo that was used for an article where a lot of NHS professionals were invited to watch the Michael Moore film, Sicko, and then give their thoughts about it.
The film is a comparison between the American health care system and the British NHS.
