Better Than Christmas

James Connelly and Leila Redpath began Better Than Christmas as a pilot project in November 2008. They asked 1,000 people what would make them happier than Christmas; 110 people answered and artists responded to those wishes.

The resulting exhibition opened at the Horsebridge Arts & Community Centre in Whitstable in January 2009. The independent website preserves 58 works from the surviving archive.
